23 Lt (6 Gallon) PET CARBOY - Made of special PET, the carboy does not transfer any odor or flavor and is stain resistant. - BPA free. - Ribless sides means less yeast and sediment attached to the walls. - Easy to clean inside, since the inside walls are smooth. - Easy to attach an adhesive thermometer to the outside walls (smooth walls). - Easy to clean base since is flat. The regular "L"Carboy Brush will reach out all the base. - Sharp shoulders gives you less air contact between wine/beer and air inside the carboy and also give you better access to clean with the "L"Carboy Brush. - Thicker walls give you less permeability. - Safe to reuse over and over, if properly sanitized before and after each use. Takes # 10 Rubber stopper. Note: Do not recommend to lift the carboy from the side when is full. To lift it place one hand on the bottom and the other on the neck. Do not clean carboy with water hotter than 53ºC (127ºF).
