The Inkbird dual stage temperature controller is an easy to use and economical controller that is perfect for home brewing. Inkbird controllers allow you to control both heating and cooling, and set independent differentials for each to keep the exact temperature you need.
The Ink bird ITC-308S controller performs many of the same functions as the Ranco or Johnson but at a more affordable price, making it a great alternative for temperature control. Aside from brewing uses, this is a great dual relay output temperature controller for cooking (use in a smoker or bbq), home growing (heat mats for seedlings, climate control), or any other DIY project you come up with!
If you would like to base the temperature control accurately on the internal temperature of a carboy, we recommend a THERMOWELL STOPPER (HERE).
Features:
- Simple plug and play design with user friendly LED interface
- Dual stage ITC-308 - control both heating and cooling
- Adjustable Heating/Cooling differential
- 1000W max power
- Celsius or Fahrenheit

"Super Efficient" immersion chiller with 25' of 3/8'' copper tubing. 8' of vinyl tubing attached to both the in and the out with a female garden hose fitting on the in side. Perfect for a kitchen environment where the sink is close by.
The measurements are: Approx. 10" diameter, 8" to the top coil, 15" to the bend to go over the lip of the kettle.
The coils have been specially positioned to be at the top of your wort, where the majority of the heat will be. This results in a faster cooling time.
Equipped with new proprietary water turbulation technology making it more water efficient. This mixes the cooling water as it passes through the chiller so that you get more efficient heat extraction. The result is a 40% reduction in water, and faster cooling, when compared with our standard chillers.

A premium immersion chiller made with 50 feet of 3/8" OD, Canadian made copper tubing. The main coils on this chiller have a lower and wider profile than most 3/8" chillers.
Whether you're brewing with extract or all-grain, bringing down the temperature of the wort quickly in order to pitch the yeast is an essential step in homebrewing. Lowering the temperature quickly reduces chances of contaminating your beer with wild yeasts and bacteria, and will reduce the levels of DMS (dimethyl sulfide) that can ruin a beer's aroma. A quick chilling of the wort will also improve clarity in the final product. Having the garden hose adapters hooked directly up to the wort chiller gives you the ability to quickly and easily hook up your desired hose, this means that you have far more freedom as to what hose to use further expanding your options.
When using an immersion chiller there's no unnecessary transferring to different containers, and there's no need to dilute the wort with cold water. Just drop the immersion chiller in to the brew pot. The preferred method of sanitation is to make sure it is clean to the eye and submerge the coil portion of the chiller in to the wort during the last 15 minutes of the boil, this will kill any wild yeasts or unsanitary pests that might be introduced. Once the brew pot is taken off the boil, you can begin cooling immediately by hooking up the line and turning on the wate
