Gum Arabic

Gum arabic is a natural material derived from the Acacia tree. It is used to stabilize young red wines against colour pigment precipitation. It is also used to modify the nose, and to increase the palate softness and mouthfeel of wines. Properties differ depending on the specific botanical origins.
