SO₂ Apparatus

 Considered the improved method for the determination of free and total sulfur dioxide (SO2) in wine.  Improved because it allows for free and total SO2 measurement resulting from the addition of the long condenser.  

A vacuum is pulled on an acidified wine in a flask. The acid-liberated free SO2 travels into a tube containing Hydrogen Peroxide H2SO2, which is then titrated with 0.01N Sodium Hydroxide.

Tubing and stopper set for use with the Basic SO2 Assembly. Includes:

• manual water-driven vacuum aspirator pump 33810
• 1/4" ID latex tubing, 1.5' and 3' sections
• 1 x #4 drilled black stopper
• 1 x #1 drilled black stopper
• short glass tube for #4 stopper
• glass tube or pipet for #1 stopper

Tubing and stopper set for use with the Fluval electric vacuum pump and the Basic SO2 Assembly. Includes:

• 1/4" ID latex tubing, 1.5'
• 1 x #4 drilled black stopper
• 1 x #1 drilled black stopper

• tubing assembly with quick disconnect
