The CHEMetrics comes ready to use. The set comes in a cardboard box and contains everything needed to perform 10 tests: ten ampoules, ten valve assemblies, and instructions. Increments:  10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 70, 100 ppm

Results for this test kit are acceptable for white wines (although they can have an error up to 10 ppm).  This kit is not recommended for use with red wines or white wines containing ascorbic acid or tannin.  These wines often give false high test results.

The SC-100A puts you in control of your wine sulfite analysis. Its highly accurate and sensitive titration system conveniently alerts you visually and audibly when the endpoint is detected by its electrode. Because it doesn’t rely on a color change, the SC-100A eliminates the guesswork in Ripper sulfite tests, especially in red wines!

The SC-300 analyzer gives accurate SO2, pH and TA values. Kit includes everything to perform about 50 sulfite tests and 30 TA tests: both electrodes, all reagents, pipettes, syringe and beaker.

The Vinmetrica SC-300 Pro Kit improves on the SC-300. Includes everything in the SC-300 Kit plus an Electrode Holder, 10 mL Glass Burette, Magnetic Stirrer, Double Burette Clamp, Lab Support Stand and Rinse Bottle. The Pro Kit is also available with a 25 mL burette (30247-25), which is easier when you are conducting multiple tests.

The Vinmetrica SC-300 Pro Kit improves on the SC-300. Includes everything in the SC-300 Kit plus an Electrode Holder, 25 mL Glass Burette, Magnetic Stirrer, Double Burette Clamp, Lab Support Stand and Rinse Bottle. The 25 mL burette is easier than a 10 mL burette when you are conducting multiple tests. 

 Considered the improved method for the determination of free and total sulfur dioxide (SO2) in wine.  Improved because it allows for free and total SO2 measurement resulting from the addition of the long condenser.  

The HI84500 is a fast, accurate, and affordable automatic mini titrator designed for testing free or total sulfur dioxide (SO₂) levels in wine, juice, or must. Based on the Ripper Method, this mini titrator uses an optimized, preprogrammed method of analysis with a powerful algorithm that determines the completion of the titration reaction by the use of a specialized ORP electrode.

The HI84500 incorporates a precision piston style dosing pump that adjusts the volume of dosing dynamically based on the voltage changed. This dosing system reduces the amount of time required for the titration while providing for a highly accurate determination of the amount of titrant used.

This mini titrator is supplied complete with all the materials necessary to perform low and high range measurement of SO₂. All chemicals are premixed and prepackaged including standardized titrants, reagents and pump calibration solution. There is no need for volumetric glassware or analytical balances.

A vacuum is pulled on an acidified wine in a flask. The acid-liberated free SO2 travels into a tube containing Hydrogen Peroxide H2SO2, which is then titrated with 0.01N Sodium Hydroxide.

Replacement SO2 probe for the SC-100, SC-100A & SC-300 SO2 Analyzers. Simply rinse with deionized (distilled) water when done with measuring SO2 and let it air dry. The SO2 electrode does not need to be stored in any solution and should last for a long time but be careful not to bend the wires at the end of the electrode.

This electrode has a female BNC end, compatible with the male BNC connector on Analyzers manufactured after Feb 2016. Check your unit! You may need an adapter.

If your unit has a female RCA connector, you need a male BNC x male RCA adapter (30249-2-RCA).

If your unit has a female BNC connector, you need a male BNC x male BNC adapter (30249-2-BNCM).

If your Vinmetrica SC-100, SC-100A, or SC-300 Analyzer was made between June 2014 and February 2016, your unit has a female RCA connection. When you replace your SO2 electrode, you will need this male BNC x male RCA adapter.

If your Vinmetrica SC-100, SC-100A, or SC-300 Analyzer was made before June 2014, your unit has a female BNC connection. When you replace your SO2 electrode, you will need this male BNC x male BNC adapter.
