    HAN-HI9126V

The HI9126V is a rugged, portable pH and mV meter designed to provide laboratory precision and accuracy under harsh environmental and industrial conditions. The meter offers a variety of features including CAL Check™ electrode diagnostics, automatic calibration to 1 or 2 points, automatic temperature compensation, backlit LCD, on-screen instructions, and Battery Error Prevention System.

The HI9126V includes Hanna‘s exclusive CAL Check™ technology. CAL Check™ monitors the pH bulb every time the instrument is calibrated. In the event of a dirty pH electrode, CAL Check™ warns users that maintenance may be needed.

Calibrated buffers are continuously displayed in measurement mode to remind users of the instrument’s calibration point. Users can easily determine if readings are taken too far outside the calibration range. The HI9126V can store and recall a reading at the touch of a button and features a real-time clock.

While the HI9126 utilizes the HI1230B double junction pH electrode, the HI9126V utilizes the HI1048B, an electrode specifically intended for wine. The double junction design helps to minimize junction contamination for consistently accurate results. The HI9126v can also measure ORP in the mV range using an optional ORP probe.

Features at a Glance

CAL Check Electrode Diagnostics - CAL Check™ monitors the condition of the pH electrode’s offset and slope characteristics. These characteristics are determined by the voltages generated in the calibration buffers. As part of the CAL Check feature the meter will display “clean” when the pH electrode needs to be cleaned.

One or Two-Point Calibration - Automatic calibration can be performed at 1 or 2 points using the 7 pre programmed buffers  (pH 1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, and 12.45) and 2 custom buffers.

Calibration Time-Out - A selectable interval from 0 (disabled) to 14 days can be set in which after the selected interval the meter will display “Cal Due”.

On-Screen Instructions - Clear and easy to use on-screen instructions take you through all of the steps in performing a calibration and taking measurements.

Durable Plastic Body pH Electrode - The HI9126V is supplied with the HI1048B glass body, double junction pH electrode specifically intended for wine.

Temperature Compensation - The HI9126V offers automatic or manual temperature compensation of pH measurements over a wide range from -20.0 to 120.0°C.

mV Mode - The HI9126V has a mV mode that can be used with a wide variety of ORP electrodes for monitoring oxidation reduction potentials.

Stability Indicator - The HI9126V features a stability indicator. An hourglass appears on the display when there is instability in the reading. The hourglass disappears once the reading has stabilized. At that time a reading should be taken or stored.

Measurement Recall - The HI9126V has a “MEM” button to store a reading. The reading can be recalled at anytime by pressing the memory recall “MR” button

Backlit LCD - The HI9126V has a display with a backlight for easy viewing of readings in poor lighting conditions.

Automatic Shut-off - The HI9126V has an adjustable auto-off feature. The meter can be set to turn itself off after 20 minutes to prevent accidental drainage of the batteries or it can be disabled so the user has to turn the meter off with the power button.

Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) - The Battery Error Prevention System detects when the batteries become too weak to ensure reliable meaasurements.
