Developed by Hopsteiner Breeding Company and released in 2006, Bravo is a second generation super-alpha variety. It is an excellent bittering variety but showcases pleasant fruit and sweet floral aroma characteristics too.

Bravo is considered a “super alpha” hop due to it’s high alpha acid percentage (AA%), decresing the required amount needed for optimal bittering. Despite this, some have used Bravo later in the boil in order to impart floral, orange, and vanilla flavours and aromas.
