ENARTIS TAN DARK CHOCOLATE is a tannin obtained from Limousin forest oak that has a lengthy aging and toasting.
The medium-string toasting increases the polysaccharide and cyclic aldehyde amounts extractable from the wood. Hence the tannins are sweet, round, well balanced and give the wine sensory characteristics that are typically found with aging in French oak barriques.
The original hydroalcoholic extraction process assures a very intense aroma profile with characteristic notes of dark chocolate, spices (vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, white pepper) and roasted coffee. For these characteristics ENARTIS TAN DARK CHOCOLATE is suitable to integrate the tannin and aromatic components of barriques in their third or more year of use. It is also useful to prevent and cure reductive odours.
Dosage: White Wines (0.5-5g/hl), Red Wines (0.5-15g/hl)
