Gelatin is a fining agent for beer or wine.
Gelatine Finings is a Type B (biovine) winery & brewery grade gelatin. Its high gelling strength (vs. the lower 150 bloom strength) reduces the amount required to effectively fine wine and beer. (175 Bloom, 40 Mesh)
To aid clearing in a 23L carboy, dissolve 5 grams in 100mL of hot water and add to finished beer or red wine.
To fine larger amounts of wine, bench trials are recommended.

Clarification –1.5-6g/hLTannin reduction for whites – 1.5-6g/hL Tannin reduction for reds – 6-12g/hL
