For use with the Minijet filter.  

The #1 pads are Coarse Pads. (7 microns) They remove large particulate in a heavy wine, typically those heavy reds. Also for fruit wines and cloudier wines.

Buon Vino Filter Pads are a commercial grade quality filter and are specific to the Flow Rates and Pressures applied by the pump on the Buon Vino Filter Machines, providing you with the best filtration possible.

If you wish to filter a young wine (30 days old), we recommend using #1 pads first. You may filter with the #2 pads immediately after filtering with the #1, however the wine is in an agitated state and it would be advisable to wait 2-4 days between filtrations. You may then follow with the #3 after 2-4 days.

Soak filter pads for 5 minutes before use. Soaking solution: 1L water + 0.75g (1/8 tsp) potassium metabisulphite + 3.5g (1 tsp) citric acid.
