Tri-Clamp Inline Strainer, 1.5" TC, with 150 micron screen

This 1.5" TC Inline Sanitary Filter is made out of 304 stainless steel. It has a filter that uses a built-in 150 Micron Stainless Steel Mesh with a 2mm Perforated Screen.

When attached to your transfer set-up, it provides inline filtering and can be easily removed/disassembled for fast cleaning. The mesh is sized to be porous enough so as not to clog but to still traps large solids. For transferring from fermenter to tank, or between tanks, place after the pump. 

For use as a wort strainer, place it after the pump, but prior to a plate chiller, to reduce the amount of debris entering the chiller. 

It is very important that the strainer is placed in the correct orientation, to not blow out the mesh. The flow direction should always push the mesh against the perforated core so that the mesh is supported properly.

Replacement screens and screens of different mesh sizes are available.
