Bottles - Bordeaux, Antique Green, 3L, Punted, Cork Finish, Each "Double Magnum"

This large format 3 litre bottle is called a Double Magnum or Jeroboam. It holds the equivalent volume of 4 standard bottles of wine. With a 23 mm neck opening, it requires a larger cork (54mm x 33mm) than standard wine bottles. 

Antique green glass color is often preferred for red wines to protect them from light during long term storage.

This bottle cannot be corked with a regular corker. If you don't have a corker for large corks, squeeze the cork several times in the jaws of a corker, then tap it into the bottle with a rubber mallet.
