This 23L beer kit produces a clean North-American style wheat beer. Light straw colour, and low hop bitterness make this a very refreshing and thirst quenching drink. While North-American wheat beers don't express the "big banana" characteristics that their German cousin, the Hefewiesen does; you can still boost up the fruitiness by fermenting at the higher end of the temperature range. For food pairings, generally lighter fish, chef salads, and chips with salsa (all with just a little squeeze of lemon) go well with this beer. - Colour: Light Straw-Yellow - Yeast: Safale S-04 - Temperature Range: 16-20°C - IBU: 7

    I brewed this beer with wyeast 3711 saison and dry hopped it with 1.2 oz of citra for the last 4 days in the keezer before kegging and it turned out excellent.

    This is a great kit! I have brewed this many kit many times. Only once with the kit yeast ( I found it a little bland and ended up dry hopping it into something quite nice) I just recently brewed it with a Wyeast 3711 Saison yeast. Delicious! I've also used Abby 1214 yeast and had a nice beer that friends love.
