Vinometer - A device used to determine percentage of alcohol in wine. 0-25%

A vinometer is an open, graduated glass tube with a small filling reservoir. The reservoir or funnel is filled with a small amount of wine until some exits out the other end. It is then turned around and placed on a flat surface, reservoir side down, and allowed to drain. The alcohol concentration level is read off the vinometer's scale, on the capillary, at the top of the liquid being measured, in % v/v alcohol.
