Named after the Slavic God of fertility "Jarrylo" (pronounced Ya-Ri-Lo), this hop sports some fresh and unique characteristics.
With off the wall flavours and aroma of Bannana, Pear, and Spice this hop can make for a welcome break from the "in your face citrus" aspects of many West Coast IPA's. Used in combination with New School hops like Mosaic, Azacca, or El Dorado you can end up with a seriously tropical India Pale ale; and used alone this hop can make a fantastic SMASH ("Single Malt and Single Hop" Beer).
While its application seems to be suited more towards hop-forward beers, with a simple pilsen malt based beer, this can add a flavourful twist when compared to many noble hops such as saaz.
